Mavecure - El Remanso Community

Outdoor, Swimming, Ethnotourism
Depending on the weather conditions of the day, we visit Cerro Mavecure, if it rains the lichen on the rock makes it very slippery and prevents climbing. If it is not possible to climb this hill, the activity will be postponed to the next day and in exchange we do other activities with the inhabitants of the community, such as walking in the savannah to admire the Inírida flower or visiting and bathing in the Caño San Joaquín, whose characteristic red colour is due to the tannin in the leaves of the trees. In the late afternoon we return to the camp for dinner and rest.
