Who are we?
Aventure Colombia is one of the first French-speaking agencies specializing in tourism in Colombia. Since 2007, our multicultural team has been committed to showcasing the country’s natural and cultural richness, while respecting the environment and valuing local communities.
Our CSR Policy
At Aventure Colombia, our passion for exploring the country’s natural treasures is matched by a deep responsibility to preserve them. We are proud to announce that we have achieved Travelife Partner * status, that we are members of the Adventure Travel Conservation Fund Partner, internationally recognized programs that certifies our unwavering commitment to environmental and social sustainability. This achievement is more than just a label; it is a promise. We work daily to minimize our footprint, protect the biodiversity of our regions, and ensure that tourism serves as a positive force for local communities. Traveling with us means choosing a conscious, ethical adventure that respects Colombia’s natural heritage.
Our recent progress: Creation of the Wild Colombia foundation
Conservation of biodiversity and local cultures
Launched at the end of 2023, the Wild Colombia foundation supports the conservation of biodiversity and local cultures, integrating science, community empowerment, and sustainable economic solutions. Our first major project: wildlife monitoring and protection around the Chingaza Natural Park.
Projects led by Wild Colombia
The Arhuaco People and the
Jaguar
Sierra Nevada (SM, CO)
Development of materials in their native language (Ikun) to reinforce knowledge about the role of the jaguar in the Arhuaca worldview, respect for ancestral natural resource management norms, and to provide recommendations for the prevention and management of attacks by large felines on domestic animals.
Jaguar Corridor
Darién Jungles (Panamá)
We are currently in a prospecting phase to identify opportunities and needs within the context of tourism, aiming to strengthen this activity in the region through a sustainable approach. Similarly, we seek to support feline monitoring through camera trapping.
Key Actions (2008 – 2018)
Since our beginnings, we have conducted numerous projects in partnership with local communities and associations:

La Boquilla
The agency helped the community of La Boquilla, located near Cartagena, to develop its tourism activity to strengthen a sustainable economy. To this end, it trained guides to teach them how to value their natural heritage, culture, and traditions, so they could present their territory to visitors and raise awareness. This fosters genuine exchange.
The Wiwas
The Wiwa are an indigenous community living in the Sierra Nevada, in the north of the country. The agency helped them develop their own excursion to the famous Ciudad Perdida (Lost City). To do this, Aventure Colombia organized additional training for guides as well as awareness of good environmental practices, particularly concerning waste management. The agency also provided them with materials, such as ropes, to facilitate the establishment of their activity.

The Wayuus
(2009 – 2012 and 2018)
The Wayuu are an indigenous community living in La Guajira, in the far northeast of Colombia. Aventure Colombia contributed to the development of tourism activity in this region by training guides, developing new itineraries, and ensuring the commercialization of their products. Furthermore, responsible tourism awareness was conducted, particularly emphasizing water conservation and waste management.
In 2018, Aventure Colombia bought, through the Talento Colectivo foundation, backpacks (mochilas) and accessories created by Wayuu women (traditional textiles), in order to resell them to tourists. This project supports the community, which is gradually losing its tradition.

The Arhuacos
(2011 – 2012)
The Arhuacos are a “sister” indigenous community to the Wiwa, also living in the Sierra Nevada, in the north of the country. Aventure Colombia made donations of school supplies to this community.
Mano Cambiada
(2013)
Mano Cambiada is a non-profit organization that develops social and environmental projects in Chocó, on the Pacific coast. The agency contributed to the development of its tourism activity by donating an engine to facilitate access to its tourist accommodation.

Palo Q’sea
(2014 – 2015)
Palo Q’ Sea is a non-profit association located in Pereira. It implements local development projects through artistic, theatrical, and musical initiatives. Aventure Colombia, in collaboration with Dame la Mano, purchased local handicrafts and sold them in France so that the profits could fund a theatrical tour in the villages surrounding Pereira.
Eco-andes
(2014 – 2015)
EcoAndes is a non-profit association that develops projects aimed at contributing to the local development of the Pereira region, particularly in the mountains. The agency donated clothes for children as well as logistical equipment for the organization of the event: Christmas in the Mountains.

The Koguis
(2016 and 2017)
The Koguis are a “sister” indigenous community to the Arhuacos and Wiwa; they live in the Sierra Nevada, in the north of the country. Aventure Colombia, in collaboration with Tucaya, provided them with 4 solar panels so they could charge batteries and mobile phones from their village, without having to travel to the nearest village.
In 2017, Aventure Colombia decided to collaborate again with the Kogui community by donating white fabrics to the children of a school, so that they could, with their families, weave new togas (traditional clothing).

Envol Vert
(from 2017 to 2021)
Envol Vert is a non-profit association. Its objective is the preservation of forests and biodiversity in less developed countries like Colombia, as well as in France. Colombia is a country at risk due to deforestation: Aventure Colombia supported reforestation by offering 1 tree per traveler between 2017 and 2021. 1 traveler = 1 tree planted.
Our Team and Partners
A committed team: annual workshops on sustainable development, awareness about waste sorting in our offices, participation in local projects initiated by our staff.

Fight against illicit trafficking
- Fauna and Flora: Colombia is home to approximately 10% of the world’s biodiversity. We raise awareness among our travelers to never extract, buy, or damage local flora and fauna.
- Cultural Goods: we remind visitors that any illegal trade of archaeological pieces or protected artisan objects is punishable by law.
- Sexual exploitation of minors: we refuse to collaborate with any structure non-compliant with child protection and support national campaigns against the sexual exploitation of minors.
