In the afternoon: you will visit the famous Gold Museum and Botero Museum where you will be able to admire the masterpieces of the renown Colombian painter and sculptor.

Departure after your breakfast with our local English-speaking guide to Salento. You will wander around the Coffee Region amidst its banana, pineapple and coffee plantations. Once in Salento, you will head to Cocora Valley where Wax Palms (representative Colombian trees) prosper.
After a 2,5 – 3 hour walk, free time for lunch (we recmmend you the local specialty: the trout).
Small walk in the typical village of Salento and drive back to the Finca to spend the night.

Breakfast in the Hacienda and departure in jeep with our local guide for an escapade to typical villages. You will explore lovely villages like Montenegro, Circasia, Cordoba… (the plan is likely to change). You will succumb to the charm of this region and its beautiful landscapes, its authentic villages and the closeness of its people. Our local guide will make you taste local fruits and will certainly stop by splendid viewpoints overlooking on coffee, pineapple and banana plantations.

Transfer after breakfast to the Armenia or Pereira Airport. National flight towards Cartagena.
Arrival at Cartagena and transfer to a lovely hotel located at the heart of the city center.
In the afternoon, visit of Cartagena and walking tour in the colonial boroughs of San Diego and Santo Domingo.

Visit of the Convent la Popa while enjoying a panoramic view on the city, of San Felipe castle, masterpiece of Spanish military engineering during the colonial era, and of the working-class district of Gestemani (4h).
Free time in the afternoon to wander in the historical center and, at 4, departure to the fishermen village of la Boquilla: canoe tour in the mangroves of Cienaga de Juan Polo and bird watching.
You will be back to Cartagena at 7.
