Day 4

Los Termales – whale watching

This morning we go out to sea for the first time, accompanied by the hotel guide, in search of humpback whales. On board our lancha, we are offered a privileged viewpoint to admire the whales. The imposing mammal is a regular visitor to the Chocó region: adept at warm waters and weak sea currents, the whales have made the Gulf of Tribugá their breeding ground.
Lunch on El Cantil beach. In the afternoon, our guide takes us on a short hike to the village of Termales via the Rio Terco. During the walk we have the opportunity to bathe in the relaxing thermal waters. Back to the Eco-lodge at the end of the day.
